Questions for clients

Do clients buy deals directly from Fair Deals Club? Does Fair Deals Club keep any money on hold?
The beauty is that clients pay businesses directly for the deals they advertise and publish. Fair Deals Club does not play any intermediary role between deal buyers and deal publishers.
When deal expires will it disappear from my bookmark list?
The short answer is "No". When a deal expires, it becomes invisible for new clients and disappears from the search results. It may also disappear from your "Deals basket", if it expired. However, if you change "Filter by" from "Active deals only" to "Expired deals only" or "All deals", you will be able to see all the deals you previously put into the basket, unless you explicitly removed them. In addition, if you have the deal's coupon number, you can always find it using the "Find deal by coupon code" field in the "Deals basket" regardless of whether the deal has expired or not.

Do I have to pay for deal right away?
Absolutely not! As we mentioned earlier, deal buyers do not pay anything to Fair Deals Club. You will have to pay the deal publisher only when you decide to use the coupon.

I've printed a coupon but the business owner doesn't want to honor it. Can you help?
Fair Deals Club does not act as a middle-man between you and the deal publisher. It is similar to a flyer or advertisement in a newspaper - if the business refuses to honour its advertisement there may be legal requirements based on the area where business is located; however Fair Deals Club can not help with that. If the business honors its reputation - it is unlikely to happen.
Fair Deals Club also provides a deal review and rating system where you can leave comments about the deal.

Questions for businesses

What does it take to list a deal?
It's quite simple! There are only 3 forms to fill out in order to post your first deal!

How to track a deal?
The customer who is interested in your deals would add them to the deals basket. Then the customer prints out or saves coupons that contain unique barcode. When your customer presents the coupon, we suggest that you process it by scanning coupon and entering the coupon code.
Our system will show you how many coupons have been processed (in total and by this particular customer) and, if applicable, - how many unused deals have left.
You can always check the current deal status and statistics by looking at "Deals management tool"

What hardware do I need to process and scan a coupon?
You may use any type of modern smartphone, tablet or computer (web camera is recommended).
Simply go to the "Process customer coupon" page and:
  • either enter the coupon code manually
  • or switch on your web camera and scan the bar code.
Follow the instructions.

What is Point of Sale (POS)?
Point of Sale is a place where sales are made. There are two types of Points of sals supported by Fair Deals Club:
  • Retail location, i.e. - a location with an address where your customer can come to. It could be a regular store, massage salon, photo studio, or your home office if you provide services from home.
  • Delivery/On-site/Outdoor service, i.e. - a service area that your business covers. It could be pizza delivery area, outdoor photo session, etc.
If your business model supports both types of Points of Sale you would need to create them separately.
For example, in case of a pizzeria that sells pizzas in store and offers delivery, you would need to create two Points of Sale, - one of each type: a Retail location and Delivery/On-site/Outdoor service.
When creating a deal, you can chose which Point of Sale is relevant to a particular deal.

I have points of sale in two countries, how can I add them to the same deal?
Unfortunately, this is not supported. Only one accounts with deals can be created per country. Countries have different currencies, languages, units of measure, legal regulations, etc. - it would be too complicated to consolidate all of them into one deal.
If you have Points of Sale in different countries, you have to create two separate accounts with different email addresses. Most likely, your business would have two different legal business entities registered in those countries anyway.

What makes deal listing price? Do you charge any percentage from deal value?
We charge only one small fee per deal listing. The fee is based on different factors like:
  • Number of Points of Sale included into the deals
  • The distance between Points of Sale (if Points of Sale are close enough to each other or if they belong to the same geographic location, they are counted as one)
  • Amount of time during which deal is going to be active and searchable
  • A targeted country
The deal listing price is calculated prior to publishing. After the listing price has been paid and the deal has been published, you will not have to pay anything on top of what has been charged regardless of the sales volume or profit.
Please check our " Deals Pricing " for more details.

Do you offer any discounts on deal listing price?
Absolutely!
We love deals! And we offer discounts on deal listings too! Please check our "Deals Pricing" for more details.

Do you provide any business or marketing help with preparing my deal?
The short answer is "No".
We do believe that no one knows your business and its current needs better than you. Analyzing one's business to give comprehensive marketing advice is an expensive process. We focus only on giving your business an ability to list deal offers and make it hassle-free and simple as much as possible.

No. When a deal expires, it becomes invisible for new clients and disappears from the search results. If your customer has bookmarked the deal or has the deal identification number, s/he can always open it back.
